TEST AND TUNE

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Open class for any make/model vehicle.  No payouts.  Competition racers are welcome to run in the Test and Tune lane any time of the day, even after being eliminated from other competition classes.



SFWD QUICK 8 HEADS UP presented by S.P.E.C. clutches and flywheels

PAYOUTS - $1200 - Must have 8 qualifiers for full payout. Less than eight qualifiers will receive half the normal payout. Qualifiers must run 13.49 and faster.

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Heads-Up, Pro-tree (.400) class for FWD, Unibody chassis vehicles with functional doors. Slick or D.O.T. tires allowed. Any 4-cylinder entry allowed. No air-cooled or rotary entries permitted. No restriction on power adder type or combination thereof. Any transmission allowed. Three qualifying passes permitted. Wheelie bars and one piece front ends prohibited.

BODY
Import or domestic compact car bodies allowed. Lexan windows allowed. Lightweight components limited to hood, doors, front fenders, and decklid/hatch. Examples of bodies NOT permitted: Camaro, Trans Am, Mustang, Corvette, Grand National, etc. Examples of bodies acceptable for competition: Any Import car body, Focus, Cavalier, Sunfire, Neon, and other similar bodies.

INTERIOR
Doors must open and close from inside and outside the vehicle. No center drive configurations.

CHASSIS AND SUSPENSION

Full tube chassis prohibited. Back-half chassis and tubes are not allowed. No center-drive systems.

ENGINE
Only OEM 4-cylinder motor entries allowed. Engine must be of automotive import origin or offered as OE in compact cars sold in North America. No air-cooled or rotary engines allowed. Motor swaps allowed as long as they stay within the same manufacturer.

POWER ADDERS
Turbochargers, Superchargers and Nitrous Oxide Systems permitted in any combination.

DRIVETRAIN AND TRANSMISSION
FWD only. Any transmission allowed.

EXHAUST
Any type of exhaust system permitted.

TIRES
Slicks or D.O.T. approved tires allowed.



STREET CLASS QUICK 8 HEADS UP

Heads–up Pro-tree (.400) class for Unibody vehicles with functional doors. D.O.T. tires allowed. Slicks are prohibited. Any 4 and 6 cylinder, 2 rotor and 3 rotor entries allowed. No air-cooled entries permitted. No restriction on power adder type or combination thereof. Any transmission allowed. Three qualifying passes permitted.

BODY
Import or domestic compact car bodies allowed. Examples of bodies NOT permitted: Camaro, Trans Am, Mustang, Corvette, Grand National, etc. Examples of bodies acceptable for competition: Any Import car body, Focus, Cavalier, Sunfire, Neon, and other similar bodies.

TIRES
All street class vehicles must use DOT approved tires. Slicks are prohibited.

FUEL
All street class vehicles must run on gasoline. Pump and racing gasoline are acceptable.


ALL MOTOR QUICK 4 HEADS UP

PAYOUTS - $500 - Must have 4 qualifiers for full payout. Less than four qualifiers will receive half the normal payout. Qualifiers must run 14.49 and faster.

R/U - $150

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Heads-Up, Pro-tree (.400) class for naturally aspirated stock import chassis FWD vehicles and/or RWD vehicles from any other manufacturer allowed. No power adders allowed. Any transmission allowed. Three qualifying passes permitted. Wheelie bars, one piece front ends, and any nitrous components prohibited.

BODY
Import or domestic compact car bodies allowed. Lexan windows allowed. Examples of bodies NOT permitted: Camaro, Trans Am, Mustang, Corvette, Grand National, etc. Examples of bodies acceptable for competition: Any Import car body, Focus, Cavalier, Sunfire, Neon, and other similar bodies.

INTERIOR
There are no restrictions on interior.

CHASSIS AND SUSPENSION
Vehicles must have functional doors. All vehicles must retain factory chassis. Vehicles must maintain stock drive configuration.

ENGINE
Import vehicles may run 4,5, & 6 cylinder motors, as well as 2,3, & 4 rotor motors. Only one internal-combustion engine permitted in vehicle. Domestic manufactured vehicles are limited to 4 cylinder engines. Engine manufacture must match chassis manufacture. Brother company substitutions are allowed. Engine must be located and configured in OEM location.

POWER ADDERS
No power adders allowed. Power adders include turbochargers, superchargers, and nitrous oxide systems. Any use of any power adder will lead to immediate disqualification and forfeiture of any winnings.

DRIVETRAIN AND TRANSMISSION
Stock driveline configuration must remain. Any transmission allowed.

EXHAUST

Any type of exhaust allowed.

TIRES
Slicks allowed for FWD vehicles only. RWD limited to DOT approved tires.



OUTLAW QUICK 4

PAYOUTS - $500 - Must have 4 qualifiers for full payout. Less than four qualifiers will receive half the normal payout. Qualifiers must run 12.99 and faster.

for any RWD, AWD or FWD import or domestic sport compact vehicle. Any 4, 5, 6, 8 cylinder and 2 or 3 Rotor import manufacturer engine allowed. Air-cooled entries allowed. RWD domestics are prohibited. Domestic manufactured vehicles are limited to FWD and 4 cylinder engines. No restriction on power adder type or combination thereof. Any transmission allowed. Slicks or DOT tires allowed. Any type of exhaust allowed.  Tube chassis allowed.  Engine swaps allowed as long as of automotive import origin or offered as OE in compact cars sold in North America.

ET1: ET-Handicapped eliminator (dial-in) using a Sportsman-Tree (.500) for cars running 14.99 & quicker.

ET2: ET-Handicapped eliminator (dial-in) using a Sportsman-Tree (.500) for cars 15.00 & slower.

Motorcycles must be of import origin. Must have 8 bikes for full payout. Less than 8 will receive half the normal payout

It is the competitor’s responsibility to insure both car and driver are in compliance with all Import Face-Off rules and regulations as well as all NHRA safety requirements for the vehicle’s performance level. 

Must have 4 entries in each bracket class for full payout.
